Diocletian, 284-305. Follis (Bronze, 28 mm, 9.58 g, 12 h), Cyzicus, circa 297-299. IMP C C VAL DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG Laureate head of Diocletian to right. Rev. GENIO POPVLI ROMANI / KS Genius, nude but for chlamys over his left shoulder, standing front, head to left, holding patera from which liquor flows in his right hand and cornucopiae with his left. RIC 12a. A sharply struck piece with an attractive even patina. Extremely fine.
